  • 1 Large chicken breast sliced into 3 thin cutlets
  • 1 package Arla Dofino Chipotle Gouda Cheese sliced generously thick
  • 9 slices of bacon cooked until perfectly crispy
  • Thick-cut bread such as cheese bread or sourdough
  • Butter softened, for grilling
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Begin by preparing your chicken breast. Slice one large chicken breast thinly into three equal cutlets, then gently pound each piece with a meat mallet to an even thickness. Season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper. Grill or pan-fry the chicken until it is thoroughly cooked through and golden brown. Set aside.
  • Assemble your sandwiches: Take two slices of your chosen thick-cut bread. On one slice, place one piece of your cooked chicken, followed by three strips of crispy bacon, and finally, two generous, thick slices of Arla Dofino Chipotle Gouda cheese. Top with the second slice of bread.
  • Generously butter the outsides of your assembled sandwich. Place it onto a preheated grilling griddle or a hot skillet over medium heat. Cook until the bread is perfectly toasted to a beautiful golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.
  • Carefully flip the sandwich and continue to grill on the other side until it’s equally golden brown and the cheese is fully melted and delightfully gooey.
